Hello, and welcome to The Snow Pack! The Snow Pack is a semi-literate wolf RPG that has 3 separate role playing areas. You're wolf can be a realistic wolf, a mystical wolf, or even a shape shifter. Each role playing realm is seperate, so whatever happens in the mystical one, doesn't relate to the real one! Expand and grow your wolves!

Please read all of these histories before you begin role playing. They aren't as mandatory, but then you'll begin to know more about the packs and how each of them all came to be! Realistic & Mystical Pack History It all began a long time ago. Back then, the pack that lived in this territory was known as the Pine Pack. There were two alphas of this pack, the Alpha Female MayRain and the Alpha Male AugustBlood. The two had their different qualities and traits within the pack. MayRain always believed that peace would solve problems, but AugustBlood believed that everything could be solved with violence. Slowly, the pack began choosing sides between each other. Those who were on the side of MayRain, then there were those who were on the side of AugsutBlood.

A war broke out between the two. AugustBlood and MayRain's pup had wandered off during this time. The pack was destroyed, and she was left as the only one who was known to still be alive from the pine pack. She had been found by the neighboring pack's high healer apprentice, Solstice. Solstice took the pup back to their alpha, Star, to whom named the pup Midnight because she had been found when the moon was at its highest, when it was the time of Midnight.

Midnight grew and learned there, but a time came when she felt that she should return to the land where she was born and begin the pack there. Coming along with her was the High Healer of the Pine Pack, and back at the land they began the snow pack. The pack slowly began to grow as Midnight welcomed loners to her land, seeming to have the kindness that her mother MayRain had.

Once the pack was well established, though, a great war began. Midnight had a living half sister that she was unaware of, her name was BloodHeart. BloodHeart led a small group of wolves known as the Blood Circle. The BloodCircle planned an attack on the snow pack. They kidnapped Midnight, but Midnight escaped. She was wounded, and had the scars of that battle until her death. BloodHeart was destroyed, and peace returned to the land of snow.

Slowly a horrible Great Night came over the land. This is when night fills the land for a few moons, and the blizzard slowly begins. It was horrid, and the pack lost their first alpha male, IceHeart, due to it. Midnight could almost never recover from this, but she did by visiting another pack along with her two pups, Amaya and Ryu, and her high healer Apollo.

Midnight stayed there, only returning to the land of snow when she knew that it was her time to enter the Star Pack. She died at the summit of the cliff of auras, and would always be remembered by the pack as a great leader. Not only by the Snow Pack, but also by a many other packs. When Midnight passed away, Amaya stepped forward and took the spot as the alpha of the pack, which is where we are now.

Shifting Pack History
There hadn't always been lycans living in the northern lands. Most of the lycans that plagued the earth lived in the more southern, populated areas. At least, that was where they were most prominent. One lycan had traveled to the north, and they had bitten some people there. This was when the plague began there, and this was when the northern shifting pack, the snow pack, was formed.

The first one to be bitten was Amaya Heartstring. She was always a good girl, having been from one of the wealthiest families of Alaska. When she was bitten, only at age nine, she escaped to the forest. It wasn't until she was at least fourteen that she began seeing that there were other lycans. Some had travelled to the north from the south for refuge, and some of the others were the original ones of the land who had been bitten a little after she had been.

Amaya found these lycans, and she brought them with her to the cave that she stayed in. They followed her, and it was there that they made a pact that they would be a pack. Amaya was made alpha since this was all her idea, and she has been the alpha ever since. She set down laws for the pack, that must be obeyed, or else could result in the death of the person who disobeys them. Since, of course, most of the laws were created for the singular fact to make sure that there was safety among the town that was near to them.
